Thirty acres of woodlands, a large pond and 170 year old farm house set the stage for a substantial re-visioning of the property. The existing farm house scale and detail became the catalyst for a two wing addition that swept down the hill hugging the grade yet providing needed living, guest and garage space. The addition was then cranked over 20 degrees to align views with the pond. This also opened up the house to the property and connecting it via mowed meadow grass paths to a new accessory barn, adjacent to the pond.
